She is responsible for some of the most successful, award-winning corporate and commercial work in the industry.

With two fine arts degrees in the theater and a unique professional background in singing, acting and writing, Carol today applies her experience as creative director and producer of corporate and commercial programs. Michael Lesser's leadership of Grandview Island commenced at its inception. Along with his partner Carol McCann he has stewarded it's growth from a small but respected film and video production company to the mid-sized, multifaceted communications firm it is today.
This transformation was guided by a vision of the company's potential as a full-service firm with commitment to maintaining the company's strong client focus and creative reputation.  Michael began his career in communications years ago in the film business.  He has lent his considerable skills as producer, director, and cameramen to countless national advertising campaigns and long form projects as well as scores of corporate videos and documentaries.  Michael also brings the experience of his work on numerous political campaigns, at both the local and national level, to his work in the corporate arena.  He possesses a strong understanding of the ingredients needed to win, and is attuned to many subtleties about communicating sensitive issues and harnessing the power of media.In collaboration with his wife and partner Carol McCann, he has focused his talent on projects as diverse as product launches, orientation programs and brand creation as well being a highly regarded film and video director producer.

Chris brings over 15 years of experience to the Grandview team with a background in New Media, Film Making, Photography as well as I.T. and Network Management. He has experience as a Digital Information Technologist and a Field and Studio Audio Recording Engineer. Chris loves solving problems and his passion for client service is seemingly limitless.  He makes sure it’s done, delivered, and PERFECT.  He also has an encyclopedic knowledge of wine and previously worked for over a decade as a sommelier.  Between audio, technology and viticulture, Christopher is a TRUE triple threat.

Candace McKenzie

Candace heads up Post Production for Grandview Island. Resourceful, skilled, and collaborative, Candace is also Chief Officer of Optimism. Her “we can get it done” spirit gets all of us over the bumps and to the finish line.  We can never tell what clients appreciate most – her talent or her sunny disposition.  Candace holds a degree in Video, Television and Business from Hofstra University.

Brent Ferguson

Brent has spent the past 15 years honing his skills as an illustrator, animator, designer, and visual effects director. His expertise has been sought after by Marvel Entertainment, NBC, United Media, Classic Media, Loud Records, Arista Records and myriad other entities for such artists as Whitney Houston, The Eurythmics, the Wu Tang Clan, Zakk Wylde and many more. He has also provided artwork for numerous games (who can resist the artistic charms of “All Flesh Must be Eaten”?)  Here at Grandview, Brent is our head magician, helping us bring creative concepts fully and vibrantly to life. An easy-going man of few words who also possesses a remarkable skillset, Brent is easily the coolest of the GVI clan.  But don’t tell him we said so.
